First, think this: we are a non-profit cooperative
You may be asking: what is a cooperative? Basically it means that as a member, you are one of our owners.
We don't pay corporate taxes, and we don't make payouts to stockholders, so any gains that come out of our operation are returned back to our owners in the form of a stronger operation, more and better facilities, improved services, More features and benefits, fewer fees and charges.
We offer ”better-than-market” products, fees, rates and returns
You’ll see we consistently offer better rates on loans, better dividends on savings, lower fees on checking accounts and services. And we’re always trying to add more free features and many special, one-of-a-kind benefits.
Our main purpose is making a positive difference for members
It’s why we exist. It’s the major difference between a credit union and any other banking source. Our sole purpose for being here is to assist you and every other member with all things relating to banking and personal finances. One way or another, our primary objective is to help you “get ahead financially".
Empathetic…good listeners…responsive…supportive
That’s how we work. While most banking places try to deal with you quickly (they have to!), we purposely strive to slow down and listen. We are sensitive to your questions and your concerns. We’ll take the time to explain things, show you how financial things work, answer your questions, provide useful information, help you deal with personal financial issues.
But it’s a lot more than just banking!
Almost everything in your world has a connection with money. Our driving intention is always to look for things we could do, services we could offer, that would improve your financial circumstance. There are hundreds…thousands…of ways to save money, make money, use money more effectively. Our job is to find them…and pass them along to you. Our website is full of things you want to know. Our seminars, financial advisories, white papers and “how-to” articles all have one objective— to get useful information into your hands
Why would you ever want to bank anywhere else?
